In last months magazine, John told us about the huge pile of toys and gifts that were donated at Christmas for Barnado’s and Young Carers, and unfortunately the gifts going to Barnado’s were unable to be delivered due to Covid restrictions, but he is now very glad to say that they have now been collected. This is the letter that John received from Barnados…… On behalf of everyone at Barnardo’s, not least the children and families who will benefit from your generosity, I would like to express my sincere thanks to you and your fellow collectors at Tiny Tots & Friends, All Saints Church and the Fishponds Community for your recent donation. Donations such as yours go a long way to making a lasting difference to the lives of children, young people and families, and we are extremely grateful for your support in what has been an extremely difficult year. Across the UK, Barnardo’s supported 382,872 children, young people, parents and carers in 2020/2021, around 10% more than in the previous year. Through our diverse local services we help the most vulnerable children and young people to transform their lives. We do this because we believe in children. Thank you again for choosing Barnardo’s.
