MARCH PRAYER PAGE ✤ Lord, Help us to make Lent a Holy time, when we might reflect on your still, small voice, and retread our lives in terms of worship, service and action. ✤ We pray for the situation in the Ukraine, and ask that efforts at a diplomatic solution would be successful. ✤ We pray that as we continue to deal with Covid, even as the rules are relaxed, that each would remain vigilant, that the vaccination programme would continue at speed, and that those who a really vulnerable would be protected. ✤ We pray for our NHS, under great and continuing pressure. We pray for all working in that organization, asking for both strength and wisdom. ✤ We pray too for all who are in urgent need of treatment, yet there are long back-logs. Help those who are ill to be able to receive the treatment they need in a timely way. ✤ We thank God for our diverse, vibrant local community here in Fishponds. Help us to be aware that many are terrified of rising fuel, food and housing prices, and to offer support where we can. We pray too, for all organisations like Shelter, St. Mungo’s and Christians Against Poverty trying to bring relief, locally and nationally. We thank God and pray for the work of the food banks in our area. ✤ In the midst of everything, Lord, enable us to hear Your still, small voice for ourselves this Lent.
