Revd Diane writes: You are warmly invited to come and witness my ordination as priest to serve in my beloved Fishponds parishes of All Saints and St.Mary's among you lovely people! I may have been around here for over 30 years but it is impossible to get bored in such a vibrant and diverse part of Bristol with so many creative and caring people. Thank you! There is a church tradition of reminding people to pray for those about to be ordained by giving out Ember Cards like the one I designed above. The image of the Holy Spirit is a detail from a window depicting the baptism of Christ at St.Luke's Ballymoyer, where I was baptised in 1965 when my dad was Rector there. I would like to share my ordination story with you, as it will appear in the Ordination Order of Service, as it speaks of that place where my faith began. Diane to preside, Lizzie to preach. 10th July 10.30 All Saints - All Age Communion and Picnic, with Diane presiding with involvement from the children in lots of fun ways. Also a time to celebrate and give thanks for all the children.Please bring a picnic with food to share, a rug or picnic chairs. We hope to enjoy the picnic in the grounds of All Saints. 9
